- Continued those parts of my plan that I started in week 1 (see Clearing the Hurdle).
- Walked once, and used as experiment (see Dancing All the Way). Obligations kept me from more walking, so increase my ab and arm work.
- Added 25 in-bed crunches to my original 100. These crunches are done in 25 count sets, lying flat, knees bent with soles on bed, lifting head about 4", and pulsing 25 times, pushing fingertips toward heels.
- Added arm work with 2lb. free weights.
- Added 20 modified in-bed pushups.
- Had the diversion of planning for my granddaugther's upcoming "Star Studded Night" party.
In addition to the above, I also increase my water intake, but I am not drinking as my liquids as I should. I started journaling (recording what I eat), because I know that that is a key weightloss tool for me, but did not continue throughout the week. These are two things that I want to work on during this week, as I approach my next hurdle.

Had to cut and paste koala's post in this manner; I moved my "2nd Hurdle" post, but the comment would not follow (learned that the hard way!)

Keep up the exercise. It takes a while to pay off. As you know, my daughter and I exercise twice a week (when possible). I told her 2 weeks ago that I didn't think the exercise was helping. WELL this week I have a different thought. I realize the pants are fitting better and the scale is moving. Too add to it I started the CorePlan last week. I think that is helping.
So, keep at it. I believe it takes the body awhile before it gives in to weight lost!
Different subject......I miss you being here. Can't run down the hall to discuss books, life and any other trival thing going on.
I keep getting books from the library and the bookstore. I don't know what I'm thinking sometimes....I do still work and don't have much time to read. Also, working on my photography in my not so spare time.
I bet you can tell that I'm writing this from work!! trying to ignore the reconciliation project on the second monitor.
How's baby banana doing? and the lemon tree? Still want to get to see that Sun Room! That is on my list.....catch you later.
